This is where the Dirty Dozen starts and finishes, along with all Dirty Weekend events. We will be laying on quite a show here and whether you are planning to dip in for registration or lounge with supporters and enjoy the ambience, there will be much to do, buy and see, with all of this close to event car parking and event camping.
We want you to make a weekend of it with us and we have arranged free camping within Grizedale Forest Park for Friday and Saturday nights, should you require. If you wish to camp, we ask that you pre-book with us and tell us how many tents you want to pitch, your car registration number and how many people you are bringing.
We are planning a central marquee with a bar and catering services around a central arena, together with Start/ Finish lines for all the events in this area. An MC will announce happenings throughout the day and keep you updated on the timeline for your run. There will also be entertainments laid on in the evening in the main marquee including mountain bike stunt riders, live bands and kids' activities. We will also have an expert band of masseurs on station too to help put YOU back together if required!
If you have forgotten some last minute essentials, you can buy it in the village. We will have a special gear concession set up by Ellis Brigham where you can purchase last minute supplies, treat yourself to something special or try out the latest gear in their see, buy and try department.
